FUTURISTIC IRONY 

Many years ago, I saw a single panel cartoon in a newspaper.The background was a blacksmith shop in the1800s. Two men were watching their horses get shoes. They seemed rather annoyed. One leaned over and said to the other, someday they will invent the horseless carriage and we won't have any of these problems. An ironic prediction.

When I was a teen
I could recognize all cars
Now I only guess


 



Tracks to Wondrous Places (Haiku) 

Car travel is fun
but trains are much more thrilling
Perfect scenic routes.
